Supply and Install Prowler Proof Protec Security Screens

The Project
The residential client wanted to add extra security and ventilation to the front door entrance of their home. They wanted to allow the cool air to flow through the entrance and keep out the bugs and insects.

The Solution
We arranged an inspection time to determine the best solution for this project. The entrance to the home had two strong dark timber swing doors complete with long metal handles. In keeping with the aesthetics of the entrance we chose a black framed Prowler Proof Protec security screen complete with a pair of hinged doors with a box section, aluminium buildout, closer and bug seal.

Installation of the New Security Screens and Doors

The first task was to measure the size of the space to insert the security screens. Once this task was complete we ordered the Prowler Proof Protec security doors and screens.

Prowler Proof is constructed in a state-of-the-art facility, its all-aluminium design features the renowned Prowler Proof seamless, welded corners. The mesh is made of a single aluminium sheet that has been meticulously powder coated and perforated to meet Prowler Proof’s exacting specifications.

The holes are precisely the perfect size, allowing for good airflow and transparency while still being large enough to keep insects out.

Prowler Proof uses a special method to attach the mesh to the sturdy aluminium frame. Protec security screens have a stylish and robust design. The black mesh is finished with a wear-resistant textured Teflon powder coat, making it as durable as it comes and simple to clean. The frame is available in more than 300 colours to match the mesh.
