Step 2: Accurate Measurement

Although preliminary measurements were taken during the initial site inspection, a second set of precise measurements was taken after the opening was fully prepared. This step is essential to ensuring a perfect fit, especially in situations like this, where the opening was not originally built for a window.

The final opening size was confirmed at 1142mm wide by 504mm high, and our team began the process of ordering a custom Fraser Fixed Lite window to match.

Once the window arrived from Fraser’s manufacturing facility, it underwent a quality inspection before being delivered to site for installation.

Step 4: Window Installation

With the opening prepared and the custom window ready, the Russco’s team got to work on the installation. The fixed lite window was positioned into the opening and meticulously aligned to ensure a level, plumb fit. Once in place, it was secured with weatherproof fasteners and sealed to prevent water ingress.
