Framed Shower Screen Installation in Sarina

Supply and Install Clear Glass Pivot Shower Screen

The Project
The home owner was renovating their bathroom and wanted to replace the existing shower with a new framed shower screen. They also wanted to install a mirror in the bathroom.

The Solution
Before starting any project we visit the premises to get a better understanding of the client’s needs. This was an average sized bathroom that had the shower inserted into one corner. To slightly increase the entry into the bathroom we chose an aluminium framed three panel clear glass shower screen with an inline pivot door. The wall and floor tiles were light grey so we chose a silver framed shower screen.

Shower Screen Removal Sarina

The first task was to remove and dispose of the existing shower screen. The shower screen was removed without any incident. When we remove shower screens we take them back to the factory and dismantle them for spare parts.

Installing the New Framed Shower Screen

Before we installed the shower screen we measured out the area where the shower would be inserted into. We made sure all the angles were square and level.  Once we were satisfied we proceeded to install the shower screen. When this task was complete we sealed the entire frame footing.

Bathroom Mirror Installation

We installed the mirror above the vanity. The mirror was also silver framed and measured 955mm x 1755mm. The mirror gave the illusion of more space.

Splayed Pivot Shower Screen

What is a splayed pivot shower screen?

A splayed pivot shower screen refers to a type of shower enclosure that typically consists of a fixed panel and a door panel that pivots or swings open. The term “splayed” indicates that the door panel opens outwards in a way that creates a wider opening towards the shower entrance. This design is often used in smaller bathrooms or where there is limited space around the shower enclosure, as it allows for easier access when entering or exiting the shower. The pivot mechanism allows the door to swing open smoothly, providing convenience and functionality in a compact setting.
