The Project
The residential client wanted four sliding windows and a double-hung window supplied and installed onto the home they were renovating. The window fittings were also to be protected by barrier screens.
The Solution
We inspected the property to get an understanding of where the windows were to be installed so that they complimented the theme of the home. The client did not want clear glass windows so we chose dark grey glass. There were four single windows and a double-hung window. All the windows were to be protected by black diamond grille barrier screens with manual locks.
Once we removed the windows and their frames we measured out the area where the new windows were to be fitted. We wanted to make sure the space was square which it was. When we remove windows and their frames we take them back to our factory to be used as spare parts or for recycling.
For the double hung window, we selected a dark grey 5mm thick glass Hudson Double Bay hung window that measured 1990mm x 1020mm. For the other four windows we chose Fraser sliding windows with 5mm thick grey glass. The windows were white framed which were clear anodised.
For added protection, we installed black diamond grille barrier screens on all the windows. Diamond grille barrier screens are tough and durable and are resistant to all types of weather conditions.
